Recology Western Oregon provides yard debris, recycling, and garbage collection and drop off services to residents and businesses in Yamhill and Polk Counties, including Amity, Carlton, Dayton, Lafayette, McMinnville, Sheridan, Willamina, and Yamhill. Whether you are a business owner, property manager, or resident, we will work with you to tailor recycling and garbage services based on your needs. *YARD DEBRIS *Curbside collection is only available in Lafayette (fees apply), Amity (fees apply), and McMinnville (included in garbage rate). There is NO CHARGE for yard debris drop off at Recology Organics – McMinnville for customers within city limits of McMinnville, Sheridan, Amity, Dayton, or Lafayette. |
RECYCLE Glass Carts – McMinnville Residents: McMinnville residents now have the option of a 32 gallon mixed glass cart at no extra charge. The glass carts are serviced once per month, and residents may place glass bottles and jars of any color in their blue glass cart. This service is offered to McMinnville residents only, and is included in residents’ regular collection package. Amity Drop Off – Amity Residents: Amity residents may drop off glass at the Amity Public Works Department at 415 3rd St. There are glass collection carts at this location for community use. |

Cart Sizes & Placement
Our carts have wheels and attached lids, making your job (and ours!) a lot easier. Need to latch your lids due to weather?
- 32 gallon cart, 75 lbs weight limit
- 32 gallon can, 60 lbs weight limit
- 90 gallon cart, 150 lbs weight limit
Carts must be placed at the curb or roadside by 6:00 AM on your regular collection day unless you have signed up for side yard service. Loose garbage should be bagged and secured – especially sawdust, ash, kitty litter, and Styrofoam peanuts. Place carts within 4 feet of the curb or roadside, and 4 feet from obstacles, such as cars, trees, basketball hoops and mailboxes.
