**20 and 32 gallon carts do look very similar in size, however, the 20 gallon cart has an in-mold volume reducer to diminish its capacity.
Cart Placement: Please place your bins curbside in the street, with the wheels against the curb and the lid pointed toward the street. If you live on a street without a curb you can place them roadside. Place your bins about 2-3 feet apart, all facing the same direction. This helps out our drivers to ensure quick and safe service.

For drop-off rates and hours of operation, please visit South Bay Recycling at Shoreway. The Shoreway Environmental Center is operated by South Bay Recycling and owned by RethinkWaste, also known as the South Bayside Waste Management Authority (SBWMA).
BULKY ITEM COLLECTION
For large items that don’t fit in your bins, like old furniture, appliances, or mattresses, schedule a curbside Bulky Item Collection (BIC).
