I am continually captured by the world around me and feel an obligation to illuminate the ugly and beautiful through art. While inspiration surrounds me everywhere, the rhythms of nature hold a particular fascination. Creating art graces me with those rare moments of true peace. Eckhart Tolle captures the nature of my artistic experience when he said, “All true artists, whether they know it or not, create from a place of no-mind, from inner stillness.” This is not to say that all of my artwork emulates or represents peace; rather, to me it means that my art reflects a pure moment, be it a moment of peace, enlightenment, torment or other state of mind.
