For large items that don’t fit in your bins, like old furniture, appliances, or mattresses, schedule a curbside residential collection or drop them off at the Maxwell Transfer Station.

- Small and large loose items (items should be boxed or bagged)
CURBSIDE RESIDENTIAL COLLECTION
Residential customers receive two coupons per year to dispose of items for free.
Example of accepted loads (per one coupon): one pickup bed or small trailer of up to 500lbs (limit of 4 appliances that fit in the load). Loads over 500 lbs are subject to tonnage fees.
COMMERCIAL CUSTOMERS
Recology Butte Colusa commercial customers can schedule curbside collections for a fee. Give us a call to receive free estimates.
DROP OFF
Residents and businesses may also drop off items at the Maxwell Transfer Station or the Recology Butte Colusa Counties Transfer Station. Fees apply.
