- Magazines and catalogs
- Shredded paper (place in paper bag)
- Chipboard (boxes from cereal, shoes, etc)
- Clean pizza boxes
- Plastic bottles, jugs, tubs and jars #1-7
- Glass bottles and jars (remove lids)
- Aluminum, steel & tin cans
- Clean, balled aluminum foil 2” or larger
- Aluminum pie pans and formed containers

- Plastic bags
- Styrofoam
- Garden hoses
- PVC or other piping
- Coat hangers
- Scrap metal
- Fuel tanks or propane tanks
- Mirrors, light bulbs, vases, window panes, dishware, drinking glasses or mugs
- Hardback books
- Photographs, carbon paper, facial or toilet tissues, paper towels, napkins
- Plastic or foil lining from cereal boxes
- Thermal fax paper
- Any materials contaminated by food
